SCABISAN® Shampoo. Solution. Treats and eliminates lice, nits and crabs from head hair, body hair and pubic hair.

Cutaneous.

Apply enough SCABISAN® Shampoo on the infested area: on wet head (hair), body or pubis (body hair or pubic hair), until forming abundant foam and leave for approximately 10 minutes. You may or may not use the cap, to avoid it dripping into your eyes. When used for hair, it is recommended to apply and rinse with your head tilted back to avoid accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

After applying the medication, and once the hair is dry, it is recommended to use a closed tooth comb to remove dead lice, crabs and nits that may be attached to the hair.
Just one application is enough. The treatment can be repeated 1 week after the first application, if necessary. In order to avoid inadvertent infection it is recommended to apply SCABISAN® Shampoo to people that are in direct contact with the patient (relatives). Comb and cap included. Keep the bottle tightly closed at no more than 30°C.

SCABISAN® Shampoo is effective and safe for pediatric patients from 2 months of age. Do not use on children under 2 months of age, because the safety and efficacy of permethrin has not been established in this age group.

On patients with allergy to the active substance or to the components of the formula. It is not recommended for children under 2 months of age. Do not apply on patients with a history of seizures, burns, skin wounds or skin rashes.

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth or vagina.

May cause itching, irritation or redness and possibly more severe skin reactions.

Not ingestible. For use on the skin only. This medicine is of delicate use. In case of accidental ingestion, induce vomiting or gastric lavage and see a doctor immediately. If you take medication, consult your doctor before using this product. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
